My Services

What I Provide

Leg Injury

Functional Kinesiology session

As a Kinesiologist, one of the first things I start with is looking at your lifestyle and diet. Let’s work together in order to find a wellness approach that works for you.
I work with the triangle or hormonal health, to support your blood sugars, stress and sex hormones. Usually if these are supported then other issues fall away.

During a kinesiology session, we use muscle test to gain access to information within the body:

This is also known as Muscle Response Testing (MRT) or just muscle testing. This test is conducted with two people, the client and the practitioner.

The client lays on the therapy bed, one arm relaxed at the side, the other arm placed in certain positions, sometimes elbows will be straight.

We test the legs in specific positions in the same manner.
I then place my hand on certain point of the extended arm or leg and asks the subject to resist the downward force that I will exert, similar to the bite point on a manual car.

This test will show either an unlocking or a locking muscle and give me information on what is going on within the client’s body.
I’ll then map the information out, lock in all the priority muscles and alarm points into your body.

Then an indicator muscle is used, and the same process is repeated while an item (either food or supplement) is placed around the throat/neck area.

Depending on the arm response, it is taken to be an indicator of energy blockages and/or weakness in one or more of the body’s energy meridians.

Once the correct supplement/food has been found, fixes are made on the body using targeted lymphatic massage, meridian tracing, acupuncture holding point, neurovascular points, and, if needed, structural adjustments, to bring the body (and mind) back into balance.

EFT tapping

What is EFT tapping

EFT stands for Emotional Freedom Technique.
EFT tapping has its roots in the 1970's when doctors began to stimulate the acupressure points to aid patients to deal with fears, phobias and stress.

Tapping comes from the ancient Chinese practice of acupuncture, which teaches that the body's energy runs along specific pathways. When certain points along the pathways are stimulated, this improves the flow of energy.
EFT tapping stimulates specific acupoints by touch, or tapping, instead of the traditional ways of acupuncture or acupressure.

EFT session

A typical EFT session would be as follows:

• We would talk through your concerns and rate them on a scale of 0 to10

• You would speak your "set-up statement", which describes the issue and an added statement of self-acceptance

• I then begin the tapping sequence while you say your statements.

• Once the sequence is complete, we then rate your feeling again. If your rating hasn't dropped enough, we continue tapping until it has

Emotional coaching

Not everyone has the same needs. In fact, it’s hard to find two people who benefit from the exact same approach to health!
Within a session I would look at Bach flower remedies to help support your emotional journey.

What are back Flower remedy?

Dr Edward Bach, medical doctor and homeopath, created the Bach flowers in the 1900's.m

Bach believed that healing negative emotions helps the body heal itself. There are 38 remedies that each deal with a specific negative emotion.

The emotions are grouped into 7 helpers:

- Fear

- Uncertainty

- Lack of interest in present circumstances

- Loneliness

Hopi ear candling

Hopi ear candling has been around for thousands of years, it’s believed that it was first introduced to the West by the Native American Hopi Indian Tribe who were renowned for their extensive knowledge of healing.  The use of Hopi Ear Candling can be traced back to the ancient Egyptians, Greeks and Romans.  Translated Hopi means “peaceful ones”.

What is a Hopi Ear Candle?

How does it work?

The candle acts like a chimney, a gentle suction action and the movement of the flame creates a vibration of air generating a massage-like effect on the eardrum, which in turn loosens debris from the ear. The mild heat stimulates the blood and lymph circulation, boosting the immune system. It has a knock on effect to the middle and inner ear and starts drainage and regulation of the pressure to the sinuses.

I also add in a light facial lymphatic massage to aid the in the drainage and support the feeling of relaxation and calm.

Treatment

Burning a candle in one ear and then the other.  It is a safe procedure; filters prevent candle wax from entering the ear canal. The candles are only burned down to the marked safety line.  During the candle burning, you may feel warmth, hear a faint crackling sound and sometimes may temporarily feel the ear blocked.  A facial sinus drainage massage, and a glass of water to sip (the effect that swallowing has on the Eustachian tube is rebalancing the pressure), completes the therapy. The candle remains will be opened and analysed if you ask to see the insides.

Effects Of Ear Candling

  • Relaxation

  • Eases itchy ear

  • Loosening of ear wax

  • Reduction in tinnitus

  • Eases sinus congestion

  • Reduces snoring

  • Improves vertigo

  • Eases labyrinthitis

  • Improves hearing

  • Asthma

  • Hayfever

  • Headaches/Migraines

  • Reduces Stress

  • Eases ear problems when flying or diving

Vitamin injections

I offer Vitamin Injections after a consultation to see if they are suitable for you.
B12

Vitamin B12 is essential for healthy blood. When the body does not have enough B12, it leads to decreased normal red blood cell production (anemia), which impairs oxygen delivery.

Benefits include

- Normal functioning of the brain and nervous system

- Cognitive functioning (ability to think)

- Formation of red blood cells and anaemia prevention

- Helping create and regulate DNA

- Possibly preventing congenital abnormalities

- Helping protect the eyes from macular degeneration

- Necessary for energy production

Biotin

Biotin, also known as Vitamin H, is known for its ability to make hair strong and shiny, prevent hair loss, and also strengthen brittle nails. It’s also an essential component in helping the body convert food into energy, and helping to metabolise fats and protein.

There’s also evidence that Biotin keeps the nervous system healthy, and that it’s important in embryonic growth during pregnancy.

Benefits include- Strengthens brittle nails- Slows hair loss- Promotes eye health

Glutathione

Glutathione is known as the “Master Ani-oxidant”.  Not only does Glutathione fight free radicals (those evil organic molecules that are responsible for aging, tissue damage, and diseases) but also recycles used anti-oxidants in the body.

It is critical for immune function and controlling inflammation. It is the master detoxifier and the body’s main antioxidant, protecting our cells and making our energy metabolism run well.

The problem is that glutathione gets depleted with age, poor diet, pollution, toxins, infections, and radiation, among other lifestyle factors.

Top British medical journal, The Lancet, found the highest glutathione levels exist in healthy young people, and low levels of glutathione in healthy elderly, and lowest in sick elderly.

Benefits of having Glutathione intramuscular injections include

- Reducing oxidative stress

- Reducing cell damage

- Improves psoriasis

- Reduces uncontrolled diabetes and improves insulin resistance

- Helps to increase mobility

- Fights autoimmune diseases

Vit D

Vitamin D3 is produced by the action of the sun on the skin of animals and humans, while vitamin D2 is produced in plants, fungi and yeasts as well by solar radiation. If we do not get sufficient D3 direct from the sun then this can lead to numerous health issues including Seasonal Affective Disorder Syndrome, or SADS for short. We live in a country that doesn’t have bough sunlight over the year and often long term deficiencies contribute to anxiety and depression amongst others.

Benefits having an intramuscular injection include

- Reduces effects of SADS

- Improves depression and anxiety symptoms

- Aids in better sleep

- Reduces muscle aches and joint pains

- Provides many cancer preventing perks

- Helps bone creation and heal skin issues

- B7 (Biotin) our food into energy, it also helps support healthy hair, nails and skin and can assist in the re-growth of healthy skin and hair in those who are deficient in the vitamin.

- B12 (methyl cobalamin) regulates the body's metabolism and improves blood flow to the brain. It is also used for treating depression and anxiety.
